accession files in this directory prior to 25 August 1996, you should 
download the current copy.

The following data are available as Unix compressed files in 
this directory:

A multiple fasta format file (MJ_genome.Z) containing the complete sequences 
of the M. jannaschii chromosome and two extrachromosomal elements.

A multiple fasta format file (GMJ.pep.Z) containing the translated 
predicted coding regions of the M. jannaschii genome.

A multiple fasta format file (GMJ.seq.Z) containing the predicted 
coding regions of the M. jannaschii genome.

The complete GenBank accessions with annotation for the chromosome (L77117.Z),
the large extrachromosomal element (L77118.Z), and the small extrachromosomal
